MATCH: Handicap Match: Reigns Brothers def. Jack London
o After the match, the English Elite attack Reigns Brothers but they fight them off. Then, they beat on Jack London some more.
o YankeeBoi50 says if they want BOTH the Tag Titles and Jack London so badly, then at Rebellion there will be a special tag title match: a 3 on 2 Handicap Match. All 3 members of the English Elite will take on the Reigns Brothers.
BACKSTAGE: Brent Thompson and Quick Silver stare down one last time before the CPV. Tonight, each gets to choose the other’s stipulation for their match tonight. Brent Thompson will be facing off with Reaper X tonight. Quick Silver will face off with Hardcore Champion Ken Brington tonight in what will be a non-title match. Silver thinks that if Brent should face with what handicap he had at No Mercy, but worse. So, if Brent is to use the GTS in his match, Brent automatically loses by DQ. Brent chooses that even though the Hardcore Title isn’t on the line, it’s still the Hardcore Champion Ken Brington he’s facing. So, the Silver/Brington match will still be competed under hardcore rules…for Brington only!
BACKSTAGE: The New York Connection complain of how they’re unused and how it seems they’re being left out at the CPV- in THEIR hometown. They make an open challenge to ANY team at Rebellion.
MATCH: Emerald def. Dark Angel
o Following the match, The Beautiful People take out Emerald.
o Pyscho Trish then makes her way down to the ring and Ruby demands to know who she is. Psycho Trish says her name and then takes all 3 of them out again, then proclaims “the #1 challenger for your championship!”
BACKSTAGE: EAS Test and The General argue with each other when Freebird comes in and proclaims in his hometown, his title will be retained by HIM.
MATCH: King of the Universe Semi-Final: Maximum Max def. Tony MacDaniels when Shamus McCoy interferes and nails MacDaniels with a chair and then hits his finisher on MacDaniels onto the chair as the ref is out.
BACKSTAGE: Quick Silver is warming up Jason McMichaels, who is apparently going to fight later tonight in a match.
BACKSTAGE: Joseph Tyler & Jacob Smith are back and heading to the ring!
IN THE RING: Joseph Tyler and Jacob Smith claim how great it is to be back and at Rebellion they will get their revenge and are about to announce their match when Brock & James Layfield come out and a brawl ensues. Jason McMichaels appears on the titantron and announces that there will be a change to the pre-match stipulation because though Reaper X lost the match at No Mercy, he never said the words I Quit. McMichaels heard that The New Breed want some type of brawl, hardcore style match. Secondly, YankeeBoi50 has demanded New Breed gets something out of this deal. So, at Rebellion, the two teams will face off in a Ladder Match for #1 contendership to the Tag Team Titles- a tag title match at the next CPV, No Way Out.
MATCH: Brent Thompson def. Reaper X after Shane Jones distracts Reaper and Brent nails the BKO.
MATCH: Jason McMichaels def. Who the Hell Is This??
IN THE RING: Shane Jones and Reaper X brawl. Mindfreak and Shadow Vega then come onto the stage brawling. Jason McMichaels makes an impromptu match.
MATCH: Reaper X & Shadow Vega def. Shane Jones & Mindfreak (Vega pins Shane)
MAIN EVENT: Quick Silver def. Ken Brington after Claudio Giordano interferes when the ref is out and puts Brington through 2 tables! (Silver, obviously, cleared the ring of weapons before pinning).
