GCW Brawl Is War Episode 8

SEGMENT: Maximum Max comes out to the ring with something to say. He tells of his great previous accomplishments in other leagues and now he has come to GCW to make sure people remember the name Maximum Max. He now is going to ask the question on everyone’s mind, which is, why did he attack Tony MacDaniels. The reason was simple. The Ete Ryu thing was such a good set-up that no one would see it coming. But then, he needed a way to make an impact and when he heard a HARDCORE CHAMPIONSHIP match as the main event, he “didn’t want the fans to be bored.” He then decided the best way was to cost MacDaniels the match and then reveal himself. Max is them interrupted by the music of Quick Silver and Quick Silver comes down to the ring with General Manager Jason McMichaels. They applaud him and give him greetings to GCW. They tell Max that the fans though are probably very blind, because they “don’t see great talent when it’s there.” Max agrees and says that though MacDaniels would be angry, there’s nothing he can do because he isn’t a true man. MacDaniels then comes out to the ring. MacDaniels confronts Max, saying that he isn’t a CAW Wrestling great, but just a little punk ass bitch who thinks he’s everything and does anything to get to the top. Before anything can even be settled or brought to a halt, Brent Thompson comes out to the arena. Brent says that everyone has been interrupting him constantly and now he wants to speak. Brent suspects Max as the man who interfered in his match at Night of Champions, costing him the title. Max pretends to play dumb and then admits to doing it and being proud of it. Brent then asks for what he was going to ask, a re-match with Quick Silver at No Mercy, with NO outside interference. MacDaniels then says he knows of a way to make sure Max doesn’t interfere- if they have a little match themselves at No Mercy. McMichaels angrily gets on the microphone and says that all that will NEVER happen. He suggests Max is REWARDED for his actions with a Title match at No Mercy. Besides, he says, it would make good money and is good match-making. Also, if Thompson or MacDaniels were to interfere, they would be fired. On the titantron, YankeeBoi50 calls everything to a halt. He says he does not like how Brent or MacDaniels were screwed by Max and that he saw Silver and McMichaels cheering at the end of last episode. On the other end, he does not think that Thompson/Silver is a good main event for the third CPV in a row, nor would a match between MacDaniels & Max be enough. He requests McMichaels to come backstage and negotiate with him. As for tonight, Yankee thinks it’s a good idea for a “Le Switcharoo” type of solution. Tonight, Brent Thompson will face Maximum Max and in the main event, Quick Silver will face Tony MacDaniels, in order to make up for last episode’s main event…with MacDaniels cashing in his US Cup opportunity for the WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP!

MATCH: Venom def. Generic CAW

BACKSTAGE: YankeeBoi50 and Jason McMichaels are negotiating with McMichaels offering Yankee valuables for his main event but Yankee each time declines.

MATCH: Mini-Tourney Final: #1 Contender’s Match (Tag Team Titles): Reigns Brothers def. New York Connection TO EARN A TAG TITLE SHOT AT NO MERCY!

BACKSTAGE: YankeeBoi50 takes time out of his negotiations in order to announce something of dire importance. As we all know, DIW superstars have been attacking GCW superstars over the past few shows. He mentions the attacks on Smack It Down and then brings up the attack by Shadow Vega on the last episode of Brawl Is War. Yankee confirms that Shadow Vega was NOT a part of whatever is going on to his knowledge, as Shadow Vega SIGNED A CONTRACT. The other three, however, came in with no knowledge of an appearance and with no written documents. He’ll have something to say for the other three on Smack It Down. Shadow Vega, however, has something to say.

IN RING: Shadow Vega comes out and explains why he attacked Mindfreak. Shadow Vega brings up when he first debuted in his look and he was the ridicule of the CAW Community. He, however, was not ridiculed in-ring wise. He explains his dominance as DIW Youtube Champion, and how he destroyed anyone that came within his path. Now he hears of this new freak, Mindfreak. Mindfreak is in DIW New Breed and is mocked for his ridiculous (and hideous) tattoos. He, however, is a monster in the ring. Shadow Vega feels that he is being ripped off and ridiculed by Mindfreak and calls him out. Mindfreak comes out and Vega asks if he has anything to say. Mindfreak points to Vega, then to himself, and then to the No Mercy logo. Shadow Vega asks if he means what he means and Mindfreak nods. Shadow Vega then proclaims it is on and spears Mindfreak and leaves!

BACKSTAGE: Ruby enters the conversation between McMichaels and Yankee to announce she wants to cash in her rematch clause at No Mercy. McMichaels attempts to accept but Yankee protests saying there might be a change if the anonymous GM of Smack It Down responds. Ruby leaves angrily.

MATCH: Shamus McCoy def. Some Jobber
- After match, McCoy calls out D-Mack. D-Mack comes out and asks what the hell McCoy wants. McCoy tells D-Mack of their times and their fights and what has become. Quite simply: They should have a match at No Mercy, one last time. No Holds Barred. D-Mack suspects a reasoning behind this. McCoy then laughs and says D-Mack isn’t as dumb as he thought he was. McCoy then says how he wants D-Mack out of his face forever, and if not out of any league, then at least out of a show. McCoy says the stipulation for their match at No Mercy would be: Loser Leaves Brawl Is War! D-Mack accepts and the two staredown.

IN A SPOOKY ARENA: The New Breed arrive at the spooky arena and await the arrival of Reaper X. Reaper shows up with his rookies and a brawl breaks out. After a while, the lights go out and two screams are heard. When the lights come back on, Shane Jones is the only New Breed member and the Ministry of Doom beats down on him until the scene fades to black.

MATCH: Brent Thompson def. Maximum Max

BACKSTAGE: Quick Silver and Tony MacDaniels are each warming up for the World Heavyweight Championship match.

BACKSTAGE: McMichaels and Yankee tiredly continue talking about the deal when Yankee gets an idea and whispers something. The two then whisper as the show goes to commercial.

MAIN EVENT: GCW World Heavyweight Championship: (c.)Quick Silver def. Tony MacDaniels via a World Title belt hit to retain.
- After the match, Quick Silver continues a beatdown until Brent Thompson comes out to help MacDaniels fight back, but then Maximum Max comes in to even things up.
- Jason McMichaels interrupts to make an announcement. It seems that Smack It Down and Brawl Is War have been having similar types of main events, trying to play one up with each other. So, negotiations have been made and a deal is settled. No Mercy will be host to FOUR Fatal-4-Way matches- but unlike a certain company that does not have the W word in its name, each match will have its own special stipulation. We already know of the Light Heavyweight Title 4 Way as well as the GCW Championship Special Four Way match. The Women’s Championship match will be an INTERPROMOTIONAL Four Way. So, Ruby and Dark Angel will be in the match, but Smack It Down will have two matches to select two of its ladies wrestlers as its participants in the match. In addition, just signed, a match to START as a Four way but not end as one- Ken Brington will defend the Hardcore Title in a 24/7 RULES CHALLENGE! The GCW World Heavyweight Title match has been set though. It will be Quick Silver vs…Maximum Max…vs. Tony MacDaniels vs….Brent Thompson! And the four of them will compete in a four way: No countouts, No DQs,.. and as the title NO MERCY should imply, NO SUBMISSIONS! McMichaels makes it simple: THE FIRST MAN TO SCORE A PINFALL IN THE RING IS THE GCW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION.
