IN RING: Tommy O’Connor is in the ring with Mr. Canada. TOC tells everyone to bow down to the new GCW Champion, Shawn O’Connor. SOC comes down to the ring with the title and makes a speech how he is so amazing to have pulled off such a feat with a great team that he made. Brent Harvanator & Ben Hitman come out because they say that they have a way to stop the bullshit that SOC is saying. YankeeBoi50 then comes out and goes to the ring with them and says he has an announcement to make…a very bad one for Shawn O’Connor. Apparently during the time of GCW NXT, one of the older participants sadly passed away. An investigation was looked in and they found, even though he could have been close to dying anyways, he was murdered. And the murderer after the investigation was finished was determined to be one of the pros who was jealous because a rookie he wanted to badly wasn’t eligible to get in. So that pro took someone out and KILLED him, in order for this rookie to come in. This rookie apparently isn’t in SOT, or GCW anymore for that matter. The murderer however is…it’s SOC. SOC then provokes YankeeBoi asking what he’s going to do, because should SOC be gone, ratings would go down and madness could ensue. Yankee knows this and says that he has a plan. First, SOC is being relieved of his duties as General Manager (simply put it “He’s fired!”) but SOC is now, however, a member of the active roster! Secondly, SOC isn’t going to start at the top…SOC is STRIPPED OF THE GCW CHAMPIONSHIP! Thirdly, Yankee mentions how the home of SOC, TOC, and Mr. Canada (Toronto) is the home of No Mercy. Yankee tells Shawn he hopes he can do really good promoting, especially in his hometown. Because he’ll be staying there and is suspended from GCW until AFTER NO MERCY! SOC is flipping mad. Yankee then also says an ANONYMOUS Smack It Down GM is being assigned (Similar to the ANONYMOUS RAW GM in WWE). The tone plays and TJAYankees1 (as messenger of the GM) tells SOC and (respectfully) YankeeBoi to get out of the ring as he wishes to address the other 4 men. The GM announces a 4-Man Mini Tournament tonight. The winners of the first 2 matches will meet in the main event to determine the NEW GCW CHAMPION! The catch is, however, Ben Hitman will face not one of the Team Canada members…but BRENT HARVANATOR! And the two Team Canada members will face off! This is not all, however. The four will all face off again at No Mercy. They will all fight over the GCW Championship then, in a special match. The match will blend a Fatal 4 Way Elimination Match and a Three Stages of Hell:
- Stage 1: The four men will compete in an Extreme Rules match. The winner will advance to Stage 3, the one pinned or forced to tap will be eliminated.
- Stage 2: The two other men will compete in a submission match. The winner will advance to stage 3.
- Stage 3: The two winners will fight inside…HELL IN A CELL! For the GCW Championshp!
Speaking of which, The tournament begins right now!
MATCH: Mini-Tournament Match 1: Tommy O’Connor def. Mr. Canada
BACKSTAGE: Shawn O’Connor is angrily packing his things away when Mr. Canada comes near him and SOC begins to yell at him saying he’s a loser and this is all his fault!
MATCH: Mini-Tournament Match 2: Ben Hitman def. Brent Harvanator
- As a result, the main event tonight will be TOC vs. Ben Hitman for the vacant title!
INTERVIEW: Tommy O’Connor is being interviewed, seeing what has just happened, about his championship match tonight. TOC says that it’s not surprising with all the progress he has made thus far, and now tonight, in only his 4th GCW match, he will be the champion. As for what just all occurred, it’s sad, but nothing can stop him. Team Canada might be a team, but he is THE #1 man of Team Canada and his brother Shawn, and now that Shawn is suspended he’s going to do everything to make sure Shawn can still be proud.
BACKSTAGE: Rodney Stevens takes a complaint to YankeeBoi50 since SOC isn’t around now. Stevens says that the match at Night of Champions was REALLY good, but there was one problem: he isn’t Light Heavyweight Champion. Stevens demands he gets another shot. After putting some thought into it, Yankee accepts, but says Stevens won’t be the only challenger. One will be determined in a contender’s match next episode; meanwhile, Stevens will face the other one next. This challenger that Stevens is facing, is also hungry for Stevens’ blood. Stevens wonders who the hell wants to destroy him.
MATCH: ??? (Wild Lobo [return]) def. Rodney Stevens after minutes into the match, Stevens runs away and gets counted out.
INTERVIEW: Ben Hitman is interviewed about being in the main event tonight. Hitman says that it feels awesome for him to finally, with no SOC around, to be able to prove himself as the best there is in GCW. He tells SOC that he gets what he deserves and now will be forced to watch as Ben Hitman’s hand is raised and he is declared the new GCW Champion.
MATCH: Non-Title Match: Napoleon def. Kingu of Hatsu
- After the match, Cody Hawkins comes out and says that he really should have had the one-on-one match at Night of Champions, but Kingu needed a shot to be nice to a certain someone. However, Cody has a chance as the Anonymous GM told him through a very unique messenger, being Some Jobber, that he will have a chance at the Youtube Championship at No Mercy. Napoleon laughs, claiming that even if it is unfair, Cody is a joke. HE was pinned at Night of Champions. Cody then goes on to announce that the Youtube Title poll this time will be for the selection of match type at Night of Champions. As for the choices, Napoleon and Cody will each get to choose a match type and then there is a 3rd choice picked by YankeeBoi. Napoleon says he wants to do what he almost did at Night of Champions: make Cody HUMBLE! The first match choice: A Submission match! Cody then claims how he won Money in the Bank in BYU and how he loves being hardcore and extreme. The second match choice: A Ladder match! Napoleon then requests Yankee show the third match type that is offered. The lights begin to flicker as a cage is shown above the ring. Therefore, the third match choice: A Steel Cage match!
MATCH: Lu Bu def. Generic CAW, Some Douche, and Who The Hell Is This?? In a gauntlet match.
- After the match, Lu Bu is attacked by The DIW Invaders, Stevi T, Stephen Viper, and Darren Matthews. TJAYankees1 then stands up and goes into the ring to confront Stevi T. He criticizes Stevi T for doing this all just because he lost to him on Afterburner. It was STEVI T’S request after all that the match was No DQ, so it’s his fault. Stevi T then gives TJ an evil, dark look. TJ wants to request something to Stevi however. TJ challenges Stevi T to a match next episode. It will be a regular match, however- No interference, no weapons, no falls count anywhere, just a regular CAW Wrestling match. Stevi accepts, saying that this will show who the better man is.
MATCH: Genevive def. Christina Hoyte
BACKSTAGE: The Disco Kid is being taken out by Stephen Viper!
BACKSTAGE: Brent Harvanator congratulates Ben Hitman and wishes him luck, but warns him that he has a bad feeling something could not go right.
MAIN EVENT: GCW Championship: Tommy O’Connor def. Ben Hitman TO WIN THE VACANT TITLE!
- Ben Hitman was going to win but the ref was knocked out and TOC managed to capitalize.
- The Anonymous GM addresses everyone at the end of the show after congratulating Tommy and telling him to prepare for the near future. He then proclaims in order to “leave an impact, especially for SOC,” he will reveal a clue as to who he is: The anonymous GM of Smack It Down…is a member of the GCW roster.
