IN RING: SOC says he had so much fun last episode he wants Team Canada night for the rest of his days as GM. Yankee says with that statement, as well as the plans he found backstage in Team Canada’s locker room, SOC & Team Canada have gone too far. The plans, obviously, were to run Smack It Down like a tyranny and have Team Canada hold all the belts and not give people such as TOC and Brent Harvanator a chance. Yankee decides it’s time to clean up SOC’s mess from last week:
- TJ is rehired. This sends a happy TJ back to the commentary booth.
- The cancelled Youtube Title match from last episode will be re-scheduled for tonight. That Youtube Title match: Cody Hawkins vs. Lu Bu!
- The English Elite, due to accepting the bribe, have been suspended until after No Way Out! As a result, Team Canada will have to take up their debt: by defending the titles at No Way Out against The New Breed!
- The plans SOC had in the back had all 5 members of Team Canada and a jobber in the GCW Title Execution Chamber match. Yankee orders that Mr. Canada is the ONLY member of Team Canada in the match. Also, with what happened at the end of last episode, TOC and Brent Harv are in the Execution Chamber! Speaking of TOC and last week, tonight’s main event will be: Tommy O’Connor vs. Shawn O’Connor!
- SOC, pissed about this, announces right now he’ll prove he’s a good GM. He calls out Chris Carabella to the ring. SOC announces that he’ll pick a random person from the crowd and if he wins against Carabella, he gets a contract and a spot in the Execution Chamber at No Way Out. SOC spies a local wrestling promotion in the front row and picks a masked wrestler, who introduces himself as The Masked Maniac.
MATCH: The Masked Maniac def. Christopher Carabella after a crossbody
o SOC, impressed, decides to give The Masked Maniac a contract with an automatic spot in the Execution Chamber. The Masked Maniac thanks Shawn but tells him he’s not who he thinks he is. The lights go down and when they come back up the Masked Maniac reveals himself to be…Ben Hitman! Ben Hitman locks a maple knee on SOC and a crossface on Carabella. Shawn threatens to call the police but Yankee tells him that as a result of what Shawn did last episode, he thought up a plan to make it up to Hitman for his incredible effort. Now that Ben was no longer a member of the GCW roster, Ben needed a new place to wrestle. Lucky enough he found the local wrestling promotion. Yankee gave Ben a job…and a mask. Yankee gave the instructions to stay around there for a little while. In return, he gave the wrestling promotion tickets to tonight’s show. Yankee, however, did not expect Shawn to do this, so Shawn can’t blame Yankee for this “act of karma.” Yankee also tells Shawn that due to his actions, a deal which was made (Yankee picks 3 people for EC and SOC picks 3 people for EC) was broken. Since SOC went over the line, SOC is docked1 person AND TEAM CANADA IS BANNED except for Mr. Canada. In order to fill in the spot that was stripped from SOC’s possession, Brad Harris and Nathan Slash (who were given Pay Per contracts for their help at Rebellion), will have a match tonight with the winner earning a spot in the Execution Chamber.
BACKSTAGE: SOC is being helped back to his office by Team Canada. He rants on Yankee and Ben and places a 100,000 dollar bounty on Ben Hitman’s head.
MATCH: Francis Kash def. Default CAW
o After the match, Kash calls out Stevi T, saying he accepts Stevi’s challenge for No Way Out. Stevi T jumps Kash from behind.
BACKSTAGE: Kingu of Hatsu attempts to jump Ben Hitman but Hitman manages to fight back and nails Kingu with a maple knee. SOC, seeing this in his office, is pissed. With all that has happened, he makes a match for tonight’s main event: Team Canada (Mr. Canada, Jake Robin, and SOC) vs. Brent Harvanator, TOC, and Ben Hitman!
MATCH: Tommy Ryan def. Blake Styles after Rodney Stevens struck Styles with a chair while the ref was out. After the match, Stevens offers Tommy Ryan his hand and Tommy shakes it!
BACKSTGE: Before his match, Lu Bu is interviewed. Lu Bu says he does not need to be thanked for helping SID. He’s just happy GCW is back to running smoothly, at least somewhat. And now, tonight, he gets a reward, an opportunity to capture!
MATCH: GCW Youtube Championship: (c.) Cody Hawkins def. Lu Bu to retain when Maximum Max surprised attack Lu Bu with a Max Power when the ref was out!
o After the match, Maximum Max picks up the head of a dazed Lu Bu and whispered to him to meet him on Brawl Is War.
BACKSTAGE: Ben Hitman is walking backstage when Tommy Ryan and Rodney Stevens double team attack him!
MATCH: Execution Chamber Qualifying Match: Brad “Ice Man” Harris def. Nathan Slash
BACKSTAGE: SOC is talking with Rodney Stevens and Tommy Ryan. He is so pleased that he gives Tommy Ryan his Light Heavyweight Title match at No Way Out and Rodney Stevens will get the execution chamber spot that SOC has left to give! Yankee comes in and says Ben is still clear to compete tonight and that he is going to make some changes Stevens and Ryan won’t be pleased with: Ryan won’t get just a re-match at Scorched for the Light Heavyweight Title, Blake Styles will get a fair one too. At No Way Out, it will be Tommy Ryan vs. Blake Styles vs. (c.) Alex Williams vs. the winner of a contender’s match next episode.
